Is the Furniture made in New Zealand?

Yes we are a very proud of supporter of our New Zealand industry; therefore all our products are produced in NZ.

What is the furniture made of?

Our beds are all made of NZ pine and the rest of our lines are made of a premium high grade custom wood or MDF. All our furniture is extremely well made and strong, we guarantee that.

What paint is used and is it safe?

We use water based Resene paints, which are low odour and eco-friendly, so are extremely safe for children.

What finish is the furniture – is it glossy or matt?

We have our traditional matt finish. All our pieces are individually hand painted not sprayed, therefore creating uniqueness to each piece. However if you prefer a semi gloss sprayed finish we can also arrange this for you. We pre-sand, undercoat, apply 2 coats of paints (3 if you choose white), colour wash and distress.

The Daisy Blue paint finish is unique and timeless, you will love it.

Do I have to pick a colour from the colour chart, or can I choose my own colour?

You are more than welcome to choose your own individual Resene colour and we will match it up with a wash colour for you.

Am I able to request a colour sample?

We do realise that everyone’s computer is different and some time the colour swatches can be distorted, therefore we are more than happy to send you out personally painted colour samples, so you can match them to wall colours and room accessories more confidently. Alternatively, you could post us your material samples and we could match the colours for you. We are hear to assist you in anyway that we can to help you decide and make your purchasing from Daisy Blue an enjoyable experience.

What is the expected delivery time?

We try to work to a 6 weeks delivery time, however in the busy season’s (e.g. Christmas) it can be 6-8 weeks. Allow a week for the freight company to deliver to you.

Can we view the products?

Originally our product was sold through McKenzie and Willis and retailers nationwide, but as raw products increased in price we decided that it was more beneficial for our customers to start selling direct to keep the price of our products as competitive as we could.

However if you live in Auckland we have an agent selling Daisy Blue and she welcomes people to view the product in her home in Kohimarama, so please phone Karyn Gallagher on 09 528 4147.

If you live in Christchurch or neighboring areas you are more than welcome to come to our workshop. Please phone me on 03 960 8982 to arrange. Alternatively, we are more than happy to send you out samples of the colours and paint finish. Please be assured that when you buy from Daisy Blue you are in good hands. Our product is of a very high standard, we do guarantee this.

How do I order?

Very simply – you either purchase online and use our very secure Paymate system whereby you can pay with a credit card or by direct debit into our account, or you can post us a cheque, or you can email your order to us on sales@daisyblue.co.nz.

Alternatively you are more than welcome to phone me direct on 03 960 8982 to order or fax your order to me on 03 960 8952. If you would like to order a large quantity please do phone me as I will customized a competitive deal for you.

Can I order the handles separately?

Yes, most definitely, you can order as many or as little as you like of our handles. The freight charge would be $7.50 (+gst). When you buy our drawers the handles are within the price of the drawers, so are not extra.
